This is a 2-part event – you can sign up for both or attend either just the tour or hike.
Our final stop for the day will be at the Chino Hills State Park where we will enjoy a walk around the lake and hike through the Park.

When: meet 1 PM, at Park Entrance - Inside the park gates. Once we all meet, We will be driving into the park approximately 4 miles and parking in a lot just past the campground.
Cost: $5 per vehicle at Chino Hills State Park ($4 for seniors age 62+)
Hike duration: 2 -2-1/2 hours
Elevation change: approximately 500 feet.
Trails will mostly be wide enough for a few people and then also some single track.
Jeanne Hartman, a local expert, will lead the hike
Expect to see many native plants and flowers. Several birds, including raptors, flycatchers, humming birds, woodpeckers, etc. We would be hopeful to see a bobcat or coyote… and maybe even a rattlesnake at that time of year.
